As a Designer-artist, Jaajr delves into the intricate connections between the self, time, and the continuous change of the universe. Through a practice-based approach that revolves around the exploration of materials and the art of making, she seeks to unravel the mysteries of existence and translate them into works that challenge the boundaries of traditional art forms.

Year 2021-2023


Fan Project is one of Jaajr's research during her master's program in craft and design in London. The fans are made from shiny materials to play with the concept of shininess and the continuous change of energy.

This project was awarded first prize in the Fan competition hosted by The Worshipful Company of Fan Makers in 2021.

Year 2020

This project was Jaajr's way of coping during the challenging times of the pandemic in 2020. She used household items to explore the possibilities of materials during a period of restrictions and mental health challenges.

For Jaajr’s undergraduate project, She took the opportunity to explore her childhood trauma caused by scoliosis through creativewear design.

This project marked the beginning of her lifelong journey of self-exploration and helped her learn about self-acceptance through creative expression.
