About︎

As a visual artist, Jaajr delves into the intricate connections between the self, time, and the continuous change of the universe. Through a practice-based approach that revolves around the exploration of materials and the art of making, she seeks to unravel the mysteries of existence and translate them into works that challenge the boundaries of traditional art forms.

By immersing themselves in the creative process, Jaajr's art seeks to bridge the gap between the tangible and the intangible, inviting viewers to contemplate the interconnectedness of all things and the fluid nature of the universe.

Goodbye CMU , 2019

Goodbye CMU is a collection of photomontages that captures the essence of the Thai educational subculture, where the ceremony and ritual at the end of the degree hold significant importance for the graduates and their relatives. The dreamy and dramatic photoshoots evoke a sense of achievement and accomplishment. The images feature Jaajr wearing graduate gown, holding fake books, posing in front of a backdrop of a library. The montage technique used to create these images adds a sense of surrealism to the collection, amplifying the dreamlike quality of the photographs. This series celebrates the accomplishments of the Jaajr’s graduation and the traditions that are so deeply embedded in Thai culture.
