About
Jaajr Studio is a Design and Craft Studio based in Udonthani, Thailand, specialising in handcrafted objects, including tableware, home decor, jewellery and lighting design.
All products are created by Thanapond Sukthana - จ๋า, also known as Jaajr. Jaajr has a background in the jewellery design industry before going to London to pursue a Master’s degree in Craft and Design. After completing her master’s, she worked in higher education and spent time developing her personal practice before returning home to Udon Thani, Thailand, to start her own studio in 2024.
As a Designer-artist, Jaajr delves into the intricate connections between the self, time, and the continuous change of the universe. Through a practice-based approach that revolves around the exploration of materials and the art of making, she seeks to unravel the mysteries of existence and translate them into works that challenge the boundaries of functional objects and conceptual art forms.
